Information we hold

To operate accounts, deliver ebooks and show verified reviews, the website stores the name, email, password hash, purchases, reading positions and reviews you provide. Stripe processes card payments separately.

Use and retention

Account data is used to give access to purchased content and support orders. The website operator must determine and publish retention periods, a contact address, the lawful bases for processing and how to request access or deletion. Password reset tokens and promotional redemptions are also recorded.

Anonymous reader reviews

Readers can choose to display their review as Anonymous reader. The account identity remains available privately to the website administrator for verification and moderation; it is not displayed publicly when anonymity is selected.

Bot protection

Our forms include spam prevention. If enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile also processes security information to help prevent automated submissions.

Local EPUB files

Files you open using the reader’s local EPUB option remain in your browser; the website does not receive them.
